My name is Donna Jean Nethery; I am a Wedding Officiant located in Ontonagon, Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Ontonagon is located in the untamed western Upper Peninsula. A beautiful harbor town that sits on Lake Superior. Stunning sunsets, waterfalls, sandy shores, rocky shores... so many amazing backdrops for a wedding.

The western Upper Peninsula is also home to the Porcupine Mountains where you will find beautiful trails, stunning views, waterfalls, and more!

My service area includes the western Upper Peninsula and surrounding areas such as Wisconsin and Minnesota... Travel is an option!

Let me help you create a beautiful ceremony...

I provide officiant services at your chosen venue as well as those seeking a destination wedding. If you're looking to have a ceremony at a church, a wedding venue, outside venue, your home, in your backyard, at a local park; I would be honored to assist you.

I can also provide general assistance with planning your wedding day! I am not a planner but I have resources I can provide such as:

I also provide packages that include the rental of arch, swag, aisle/altar decor, bouquet, and more.

I conduct an interview with the happy couple in order to gather their input on their perfect ceremony and give suggestions they may not have thought about yet; using that input, I will put together a ceremony script designed specifically for you.

All ceremonies include the completion and filing of your marriage license, either in person or by first-class mail.

Let's plan it and make it happen.

Michigan allows out of state residents to marry here in this beautiful location; you obtain your marriage license in the county you plan to have the wedding ceremony and there is a 3-day waiting period... plenty of time to hire me as your officiant, pick a spot, and then relax until the big day!

Sunset on the beach... we'll set up the arch to have the sunset in view and perform the ceremony before the sun sets into Lake Superior.

Fall color ceremony, sunset ceremony, ceremony standing in Lake Superior; you bet...

Winter outdoor ceremony is possible if you're a thrill seeker that likes freezing temps... this one is only available using an extremely quick ceremony script :)
