Monday Musings - 2022 Wedding Trends
So many things to keep up with... how do you plan a wedding with today's trends in mind? That's easy as they're not that crazy and out of reach as you might think!

Here's a few points to consider when thinking of your wedding day 'theme'. Theme isn't about doing a 'star wars wedding' or a 'celebrity wedding', or even a 'Disney' wedding. Theme can also mean many other things and we'll cover a few here that are 2022 trends.
Rustic: you guessed it, rustic is still on the list of ways to go; more people want that old-fashioned country appeal at the wedding.
Budget Savvy: Yes, more couple are choosing a lot of all-inclusive, DIY types of themes that make it easy to plan, and easy on the wallet. Some think, the smaller and more intimate the better.
Ruffled: Again with the old-fashioned ruffled ideas. Ruffled dresses, lacy centerpieces, baby's breath as the décor flower of choice.

Whimsical: fairy lights, anyone? Lace, fairy lights, lanterns, greenery... yes, please!!!
Flowers: DIY, artificial or pick wildflowers from a garden the day of the wedding. Simple, elegant, stems tied with a simple bow.
Big Exit: A lot of couples take so much time planning the entrance of the groom and his party as well as the bride's entrance and the song choice... but what about the exit? After saying I DO, many of couples have a chosen song to play while they walk back down the aisle as husband and wife. In addition to this, what about the entrance into the reception, make a statement with this as well; include your wedding party and let each have their own entrance song into the reception hall, I'm sure you've seen some funny videos of this, if not, google them, they're hilarious!
It's your wedding; plan your day your way. I know I say this all the time, but it REALLY
is all about you as a couple.
Do it your way, you won't ever regret it.
